We set out to create the best art / music NFT that we could. That meant finding the best suppliers and materials to compliment our design vision. We also wanted to support Canadian Industry and showcase our national design talent.
PACKAGING AND STICKERS
At the very beginning of this project, we reached out to Tyler Daly at CamAd to talk about an approach. We discussed substrate materials, timing and technique. This process was very helpful because we identified new production possibilities that we had not considered. Together with Tyler's expertise and advice, we shaped our production files and returned to film the printing process. We were given safe access to record the production and ask questions. With state of the art printing technology, excellent customer service and an attention to detail that really comes across in the quality of the final NFT.
LENTICULARS
With facilities in Montreal and New York, Softmotion is a leader in lenticular production. This process uses a series of lenses to ad motion to printed art. When used effectively, they generate incredible results. From the very beginning, our contact Guy Brisson was generous with his knowledge and swift with production turn around. Going beyond, Softmotion also provided video and photos throughout the entire process.
PROTECTIVE CASES
Manufactured in Canada, Nanuk protective cases are world-renowned for their solid construction and design. We knew that we wanted to make a valuable and unique physical component with this NFT. In addition, we wanted to enclose it with care. We enhanced our cases with gold foil labels and a custom cut the foam insert inside to perfectly house a digital video frame.
STRUCTURAL DESIGN
& PRODUCTION
Designing a dimensional object requires a special skill set. In addition to engineering flat components, those pieces needed to be put together carefully. Machines can only do so much. Thoughtful assembly gives the project a special human touch and captures the craftsmanship required to make a unique NFT like this one.
VIDEO PRINTS
Forever is a long time. To ensure that the digital art could be enjoyed in the physical world, we looked to Infinite Objects. The looping animation of the Alpha is captured in a stunning bamboo digital frame. On the reverse, a gold foil certificate sticker with a unique issue number.
ART & DESIGN
All of the visuals for this project were created by Adam Jarvis (aka Vectorvault) of Juggernaut Illustration and Design Inc. (est. 1993). The production for this NFT was coordinated with creativity, professionalism and respect.
